This guide contains a list of herbs and spices with the pictures that I have used in my recipes mainly in the Indian dishes. It is specifically created keeping in mind all those who are new to this culinary world as well as for those who are new to Indian spices.
Before I got married there were only 2 things I knew to cook which were eggs and Maggi (that’s if you may even consider that as “cooking”). I didn’t even have much knowledge on spices and herbs back then, in fact I used to confuse myself between garlic and ginger. 😁
Hence to make life simpler for everyone in need, I will update this list every time I mention a spice or a herb in my recipes also for your easier reference I have arranged this list in an alphabetic order. Hope you find it helpful.
